We have been eating a lot of salsa this summer.  I also gave away a few pints.  And that left me with one quart and one half pint to get through the fall/winter.  That isn't going to work!

So, today I made one pint and three half pints.  It is my best batch yet!  I used four tomatoes, five peppers, one onion, some garlic and other spices.

I am going to try to make it in small batches each week for a few weeks to get through the fall/winter.

I have only made one batch of salsa to can so far this year - I need to make more soon! Maybe tomorrow. I have made a couple of batches of fresh (uncooked) salsa which I have been enjoying eating a whole lot.
