Has a song ever made you cry? Since I listen to country music, a lot have made me cry in the past. There are some that I still can't listen to.
But anyway, my sister sang this song the other day. I never heard all the words before, but I had heard the chorus, and it never really did anything for me. Then when I heard all the words, it all fit together. Yes, it made me cry.
In The Garden
By: Charles Austin Miles, 1913
I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
He speaks and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
I’d stay in the garden with Him
‘Tho the night around me be falling
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known

As long as it's what they call a "good cry," then it's okay. :)
this song was sung in my church growing up all the time! i haven't 'heard' it in ages; as soon as i started to read, i start to sing :)
I've never heard this song, but the words are beautiful! I can imagine it would make my eyes tear up.
