Our temperature here in CT is supposed to get down to 9 degrees overnight tonight. That means tonight will be the first night that I have to put the hens into the shed. Our coop is really only a three season coop and when the temperature gets under 18, I put the hens in a big box and carry it to the shed for overnight.
I have a feeling this is going to be the first of many, many nights that the hens stay in the shed this winter!!!!
